Crazy Heart

Two nights ago we went to see the movie Crazy Heart. Don't worry I won't turn this blog into a movie review section. But I guess maybe because of the subject matter-alcoholic singer/songwriter goes to rehab- That I was especially impacted by this movie. Just like School of Rock hit close to home a few years back, this one also will have shades of familiarity with the musicians among us. Jeff Bridges turns in a powerful performance. (Somebody told me 3 oscar nominations for Bridges on this one). And T-Bone Burnett once again producing and writing some great new songs for the movie. Indeed, perhaps only a guy who does a lot of recording like me would sit through a movie trying to figure out how they got the kick drum sounding so close and the guitar so woody sounding.

You would swear Jeff Bridges took some Kris Kristofferson pills for this movie because he somehow managed to look, talk and sound just like him. Anyways, not a new or particularly innovative storyline but compelling nonetheless. If you are a singer/songwriter, definitely go see this movie. It will be a great map of where not to steer your life as you enter your golden years and you'll get to hear some great new songs.

I saw the review of crazy hearts on Naurm Strauss. By reading his article case study help, it feels like crazy hearts were a really good movie. Nowadays many producers are spending essayedge reviews their money on action movies, horror movies, and many other genres. No one focus on investing their money on moral movies, which some moral lesson.
